Specify Pickup or Delivery »

Three different types are offered by the shop. First, you can pick up your order from our shop at 508 North Poindexter Street, second, you can have your order delivered [please consult our delivery schedule], or third, you may take delivery at your place of work [see qualifications below].


We welcome EBT purchases, and you may contact the office at (252) 335-2254 to make a payment.


Pickup at the Shop

Our neighbors may pick up their orders at the shop at 508 North Water Street Monday through Friday between 10:00AM and 5:00PM or by special arrangement. If you are unable to come into the shop for any reason, one of our associates will bring your order to your vehicle. Call us at (252) 335-2254.


Delivery to Your Home

By signing up to receive our newsletter, you will start receiving notices about deliveries to your zip code. For more information, read our Delivery Schedule section on this site. For at risk neighbors, we will try and find a solution to get orders delivered to you.


Delivery to Your Workplace/Business

We can deliver your orders to your workplace provided that your manager or owner permits us. A total of four orders are required to make a delivery to a business unless they are a customer receiving orders from the shop.

Packaging »

Your orders are delivered in an insulated cardboard box with gel packs to keep your items cold. Meat items can be cryovaced for an additional 0.50 cents each. You can select which items you desire at checkout.

A Guide to Making a Meat Purchase

Using our How to Buy section, any one of our neighbors can become an informed purchaser. We know that buying meat products can be intimidating and confusing for some. Using the beef and pork illustrations below you can find the cut of meat you are seeking for the menu item you are creating.

BEEF

Most cuts are available in our Copper Creek angus high choice or prime grades, and we offer a good variety of all-natural. When purchasing all-natural beef from the shop, you will receive a graded product vs. what you see at farmers' markets, which is ungraded. Copper Creek is consistent because we purchase from the same supplier that uses breed specific animals and processes only cattle that grade close to prime or prime. This separates our products from those offered by the big box supermarkets that make price vs. quality the deciding factor in their purchases and yours when you are shopping there.

PORK

The shop sources our pork from a reputable company in the Midwest, and the all-natural is purchased in the State of North Carolina. Our pork is never injected to add flavor or weight like you might see at the big box supermarkets. Country hams, seasoning meat and slices are sourced from a company in the mountains of this State.

Other Products

Specialty Meats

My Corner Butcher stocks all-natural bison, elk and rabbit, all three low in fat and a great option to beef for those on restrictive diets. These originate from our State and are never administered antibiotics, hormones, or fed GMO products. All of these animals are humanely raised by small farmers.

Poultry

The shop offers a full line of chicken, both minimally processed and all-natural. The all-natural is also antibiotic, hormone free and never fed GMO products. During the holidays, we feature all natural turkeys that are processed under the same standards as the rest of our all-natural meat.

Seafood

For the non-meat eaters, the shop stocks a variety of local seafood, most of which is sourced from the Pamlico Sound region, all minimally processed and all-natural.

All-Natural Deli

We opened our deli in 2025 and only all-natural meats are sold, which are processed to the same standards as our other all-natural items. Read more about our deli in the About tab. Try some of these products and you will taste the difference and eat healthier.
